Susan Risenman is a registered Speech Language Pathologist with 32 years of clinical experience, working with children, teenagers & adults with speech sound disorders (articulation, phonology) and/or delayed language development.
She has a very active private practice servicing preschool & school age children in their homes, virtually as well as in schools. Susan is the Speech Language Pathologist for the following Toronto private schools, Havergal College, Mabin School and Montcrest School.
She also worked as a Speech Language Pathologist in the outpatient paediatric program at Humber River Hospital from 1988 until May, 2020.
In all aspects of her clinical work, Susan adopts an empathetic style to support the healthy development and well being of her clients, recognizing the importance of family centred care. She works collaboratively with her clients and families to make the speech language experience, an engaging and positive one.
