Knowing you have a choice and choosing your choices that’s the question. Do you know that there are many, many options to help transform anxiety, depression, fear, nervousness and stress? Have you toe dipped outside the mainstream box? Did you know that when we are knee deep in depression, or our anxiety is over the top, there is way more choice to help, heal and transform ourselves than what’s offered in the mainstream arena? Did you know we can collaborate mainstream and holistic? Doctors have been referring patients to mediation, yoga, exercise classes, chiropractor, physiotherapists, homoeopaths, and naturopaths for years.
The reality of knowing that there is a choice in for us in all areas of wellness comes down to us seeking choice, and embracing ourselves, loving ourselves when we feel our worst. Seeking choice when we are well to stay well, is an awesome choice. But what about when we wobble and huddled in a dark corner in our minds when we feel like there is no way out. I experienced this in my teens, 20’s and early 30’s. And when I stepped outside the box and sat with the first ‘holistic Wellness Provider who made me recognize that I belong, I matter, and was ready to move forward and heal. Today I share my story by sharing choice with you. You choose your path, you choose where you begin, all I ask is that you choose. through the first stage when we meet the right wellness provider who sits across us and makes us feel like we belong or we matter, it’s then that we know we can grow forward and have the life that we choose.
Just letting you know from experience when I was at my absolute worse state of anxiety and panic attacks that’s exactly when I stepped outside the mainstream box and wobbled to the discovery of choice. Choices like homoeopathy, reiki, meditation, holistic nutrition, acupuncture the list are actually endless. Today, we are in the greatest position of all times to seek choice and to add choice to our lifestyle.
10 years ago, did you think that there would be a yoga studio on every street corner, just like doughnut and coffee shops? Today, yoga is practised everyone, in the corporate arena, for pregnant moms, for stress, anxiety, you name, yoga is available to all.
Take Reiki, when I learned about Reiki over 25 years ago, I felt like I couldn’t share the wealth, I mean WEALTH it created in my life. I was able to live in the present as a young mom, wife and entrepreneur starting a brand new business. Yes, I was one of the first people, with my partner at the time, to open a speciality tea and coffee shop just north of Toronto. We began serving Soyachinno’s before Starbucks was a twinkle in Canada’s eye!
Had I not stepped out of mainstream conformity, and walked into freedom after my first treatment with a chiropractor, who did energy healing and homoeopathy, I would not be who I am today.
